ABOUT

How I got here

I have been writing and telling stories and poems since I was a young child. But I must have been something of a slow developer, because it wasn't until I did a degree in Creative Writing at the age of 50 that I decided writing and performing was the career for me. Shortly afterwards I graduated from a stand up comedy course, and have never looked back. I have published two books, and appeared at numerous spoken word events, comedy venues and festivals. I aim to make people laugh and cry through my work and performances, sometimes at the same time! Please get in touch to discover more about my work, writing process and future endeavours.

THE LAST CHANCE SALON

July 2020

Away from the High Street, nestled on the corner of two terraced streets, The Last Chance Salon offers a warm welcome to all who cross the threshold.

There is something for everyone in this bittersweet collection of stories and poems, inspired by the Friday-morning regulars of this old-fashioned hairdressers, and their indomitable hostess, Simone.

Charmingly illustrated with black and white drawings.

The Last Chance Salon is priced at £6, plus £3 postage. To reserve your copy, please get in touch by completing your contact details below.
